This website presents the children’s book series The Dusketeers.

At the moment, this website does not use:

• contact forms
• our own analytics tools
• advertising placed by us
• our own tracking cookies

Fonts and images are loaded from this website itself where technically possible.

3. Technical operation and security

When you visit this website, technical data is processed so that the pages can be loaded, displayed, and protected. This may include your IP address, time of access, requested file, browser information, and technical connection data.

This website uses Cloudflare for technical delivery, security, and stability. Cloudflare may process personal data, especially technical connection data. Processing outside the European Union, including in the United States, may occur.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable, and reliable operation of this website.

5. Newsletter and Adventure Pack

You can join the Dusketeers mailing list and receive our free Adventure Pack as a welcome gift. The mailing list also includes occasional Dusketeers news, new-book announcements, further free printables, and special offers.

Sign-up takes place on the Adventure Pack page of this website.

We use a double opt-in process. After you submit your address, we send a confirmation email. We add you to the list and make the Adventure Pack available for download only after you click the link in that email.

We store your email address together with a random subscriber ID in a Cloudflare D1 database. We send the download link by email. The download works only while you remain on the mailing list.

Emails are sent with Resend. Resend processes your email address in the United States. A transfer to a third country may therefore occur.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the emails or by writing to us.

Unconfirmed sign-ups expire after 48 hours. Confirmed addresses are stored until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

If you follow a link to Amazon, a bookseller, or another external website, you leave this website. The privacy notices of the respective external providers apply there.

7. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law.

Technical data processed by Cloudflare is subject to Cloudflare’s own retention periods and privacy rules.

We store mailing-list data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Unconfirmed sign-ups expire after 48 hours.
